My Oxford Summer Course Diary: Day 2
Breakfast, Books, and Brushes: Day 2 at Oxford Summer Course
Hello, everyone!
Today was a truly enriching and vibrant day at the Oxford Summer Course, filled with delicious food, enlightening learning, and artistic collaboration.
The day began with a delightful breakfast in the historic dining hall. The aroma of freshly baked croissants filled the air, mingling with the rich scent of brewed coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. It was a breakfast fit for royalty, providing the perfect start to a day of learning and creativity. I savored every bite, enjoying the serene atmosphere and the anticipation of the exciting activities ahead.
Our morning session was a fascinating class on content writing. We delved into the art of crafting compelling narratives, learning how to use words to convey emotions and tell captivating stories. The instructor shared invaluable tips on structuring content, engaging readers, and the nuances of different writing styles. I felt inspired and eager to apply these new techniques to my own writing projects.
The afternoon was dedicated to a wonderful group activity: painting a mural with students from France, Italy, the USA, and China. It was an incredible experience to collaborate with such a diverse group of peers, each bringing their unique cultural perspectives and artistic styles. Together, we created a beautiful masterpiece that symbolized our unity and shared creativity. The mural was a vivid tapestry of colors and ideas, reflecting the spirit of collaboration and the beauty of cultural exchange.
This day has been a perfect blend of learning, creativity, and friendship. The experiences and memories I've made here are truly unforgettable, and I'm excited to see what the rest of the course holds.
