Celebrating International Day of the Girl: Girls' Vision for the Future

On this special day, I’m excited to reflect on my journey and how it aligns with this year’s theme, "Girls' Vision for the Future."

I had the amazing opportunity to attend a three-week Oxford Summer Course in Creative Writing, where I received a certificate from the course director, Mr. Stephen Davies. It was a true honor to present my two books, A Window to the World of Wonder andDream Big, Fly High: 55 Journeys to Inspire Young Minds, to both Mr. Davies and my wonderful teacher, Kieron Winn.

Another highlight of my trip was attending the John Locke Global Award Ceremony at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, where I was awarded Merit Certificates for my essays in Philosophy, History, and Politics. Receiving these awards from Liz Truss (Former British Prime Minister), Jamie Whyte, and Martin Cox was an unforgettable moment for me.

As I continue my journey of storytelling and learning, I hope to inspire girls everywhere to believe in their vision for the future. We can all dream big, fly high, and shape the world with our ideas and actions!

Thank you very much all my respected teachers at Jayshree Periwal International School, friends and well wishers'.
